The standard DKD calibration certificate as
described in EURAMET/cg-18/v.01

  • Ensures traceability to a national standard
  • Documents measurement results, deviations and uncertainty of measurement
  • Shows both the uncertainty of measurement determined during calibration and the in-use uncertainty of measurement
A number of factors must be taken into consideration in determining the uncertainty of measurement, including temperature fluctuations at the place of installation
  • Traceability to a national standard is required, for example, by EN ISO 9000 and EN ISO/IEC 17025
  • If you work within a quality management system, you need a calibration certificate in the scope of monitoring inspection, measuring and test equipment
  • With the DKD-accredited calibration certificate, you get an internationally recognized certificate that ensures traceability to a national standard
  • Because measured values can be affected significantly by conditions at the place of installation, that is where the instruments must be calibrated
